Darlene is a Managing Director, and Director of ERISA at Rea with over 30 years of experience specializing in employee benefit plan audits. Since joining Rea in 1991, she has established herself as a distinguished professional, earning recognition as the inaugural recipient of the Chet Stocker award and Accounting Today’s first Accountant of the Month. A Kent State University graduate, Darlene serves on multiple boards including Kent State Tuscarawas and Walnut Hills Retirement Community. Based in Millersburg, she balances her professional life with sprint car racing and caring for her unique pets, including donkeys.

I haven’t asked clients what they enjoy about working with me – that would be a client question.

What is your favorite line from the Rea Way and why?

Be a good steward. I try to follow the philosophy to leave something better than you found it - I think that philosophy has many different applications. Being a good steward allows you to achieve many of the other statements found in the Rea Way.
