Prior to joining Rea in 2024, she successfully managed her own firm for 13 years. A dual-licensed CPA in Florida and Canada, Marina holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University in Toronto. Born in the former USSR and fluent in Russian, she brings a unique international perspective to her work. Marina is known for her holistic approach to client service, focusing on clear communication and strategic tax planning while serving as a trusted business advisor.

What do clients enjoy about working with you?

To my clients I am more than just a CPA, I’m an advisor. Someone they trust to ask for help and guidance in many areas of their business and personal financial lives. I strive to minimize my clients’ tax burden, while explaining the strategies in a way they can understand. If I can take the stress out of the tax planning and preparation process for them, I have done my job.

What is your favorite line from the Rea Way and why?

Maintain Integrity in all you do. Be Honest. Take your work personally. I ask my team to treat every client's tax return as if it was their own. They know they are making a difference in these clients' lives by doing their very best work.

Weekend Hobby: Driving my sons to and from soccer practices and games, as well as their rock band practices and performances. When I'm not doing that, I like to entertain and when I have a quiet moment, I love to read.
Interesting Fact: My family immigrated to Canada in 1991 from former USSR. I am both Canadian and a US Citizen. I speak fluent Russian!
