Chad is a Principal and Quality Control Officer at Rea, with over 25 years of experience in governmental accounting and auditing. A recipient of the 2024 Bradford M. Sprague Award for Excellence in Client Service, Chad is recognized for his expertise in GAAP, GAGAS, and peer review standards. He’s an active member of AICPA, OSCPA, and GFOA, and has presented at numerous governmental conferences. Prior to his accounting career, Chad served five years in the Army. He enjoys golfing and building personal relationships with clients.

What do clients enjoy about working with you?

I believe it’s the client service, technical expertise our firm brings and the reliability they have in us to service their needs. In addition, we focus on bringing a personal touch to every engagement. Our focus is on building long term relationships with our clients more on a personnel basis vs a business.

What is your favorite line from the Rea Way and why?

Embrace change. It's always coming and at a very fast pace. You have to be willing to embrace it or you will be left behind.
