He holds an Associate Degree in Accounting Technology from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Derek is a member of AICPA, ACFE, and the Ohio Society of CPAs. Based in New Philadelphia, he enjoys golfing and spending time with family and friends on the weekends.

What is your favorite line from the Rea Way and why?

Fail forward. Be persistent in finding creative solutions. I like this line because it encourages us to continue to think of better ways to serve clients and not become set in our ways. Especially today with ever changing technology I think this continues to resonate.
