What do clients enjoy about working with you?

I ask good questions and listen intently. I have their best interest in mind and connect the dots. Often if a client has an issue, they will contact me and even if I can’t help them personally, I typically know a specialist or someone that can solve their problem.

When I was in college, I used to think being a CPA was a “math” job, but as I’ve grown in my career, I believe CPA’s are more problem solvers and dot connectors. We come up with solutions to help our clients achieve their goals whether it be mitigating taxes, determining which products they’re making money on or losing money on, or successfully transferring the business to the next generation. If we can’t personally solve the problem, we can use our extensive network of professionals to make the right introduction

What is your favorite line from the Rea Way and why?

Embrace change. Be open to the possibilities. Opportunities abound. Believe in yourself. Many people are resistant to change, but you need to see the positive that change can bring instead of fearing it. In Lean Six Sigma, we talk about how you can change and improve a process and set yourself up for future success. Change can be very good and if you believe in your abilities, you can capitalize on the opportunities that may not be easy to see but are always present.
