The Rea Foundation, the nonprofit corporation for charitable giving established by top 100 business advisory and CPA firm Rea, has announced its charitable impact for 2024, marking another year of significant community support and investment.
Throughout 2024, the Foundation distributed more than $100,000 in financial gifts and provided over $31,500 in scholarships, directly supporting 28 nonprofit organizations across its service areas. These contributions reflect the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening local communities and upholding the “service above self” principle established by firm founder Richard Rea in 1938.
“The Rea Foundation’s mission has always been deeply rooted in the ideals of our founder, Richard Rea, who believed in the power of community investment and service,” said Jeremy Senften, Rea Foundation President. “Our 2024 giving initiatives demonstrate our continued dedication to these founding principles while meeting the evolving needs of our communities.”
The Foundation, which underwent a strategic restructuring in 2020 to enhance its impact, operates through a dedicated group of trustees, all Rea employees, who work alongside three specialized committees to ensure effective and meaningful charitable giving. This structured approach has enabled the Foundation to maximize its community impact while maintaining strong connections to local needs.
“For over 80 years, investing in our communities has been fundamental to our organization’s DNA,” added trustee, Ben Antonelli. “Through The Rea Foundation, we’re able to create lasting positive change in the communities where our employees live and work.”
