Our Founder: Richard Rea & The Rea Way

In the early years of the Great Depression, Richard Rea was furloughed from his job as an accountant. Rather than standing in the unemployment lines, “The Old Man” (as he’s known around here) seized an opportunity to help local businesses with their financial systems. From this initiative, Rea was born. By 1938, Rea had become a trusted accounting partner.  
 
The Rea Way reflects the core values Richard Rea and others used to build our firm. We’ve upheld these values over the years, which were ahead of their time, and our associates continue to embody them today.
